Introduction to the working principle of Wilden Air Valve
During the starting process of the water pump of Wilden Air Valve, when the valve body is not filled with water, the float ball in the valve body falls due to its own weight, and the air holes are all open. With the rise of the pump starting working head, the pipeline is filled with water, and the air can automatically remove the air in the pipeline. When the valve body starts to fill with water, the floating ball floats.
All the air in the pipe and valve body is exhausted, and the valve body is filled with water; if the pressure in the pipe is higher than atmospheric pressure, the floating ball will block the exhaust hole under the action of the pressure in the pipe, and the water in the pipe will not be discharged out of the valve.
During the operation of the pump, if the air dissolved in the water separates out and accumulates in the Wilden Air Valve, the float loses its buoyancy and falls automatically. If the air volume is small, the floating balls in the small holes will fall for exhausting; if the air volume is large, the floating balls in the large holes will fall for exhausting. The drop of the floating ball reaches the balance between the water pressure in the pipe and the gravity of the floating ball. After the exhaust is completed, the float returns to the position where the air hole is closed.
